Boil Water Advisory (March 14, 2017)

Brunswick, Georgia

A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for Rosewood Drive and Gatch Lane in Brunswick by the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission. System repairs in the area may cause water pressure to drop and everyone is advised to boil water for at least five minutes and let it cool before drinking or using to prevent disease causing organisms to enter the system.

Water samples will be collected and evaluated over the next 24-48 hours to check possible bacterial threat after the work is completed.

Columbia, South Carolina

Some areas of Richland County in the City of Columbia are under a boil water advisory due to a water main break. Customers are advised to vigorously boil their water at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking.

The City of Columbia Water Works is presently working to resolve the problem.

Hampstead, North Carolina

A portion of Hampstead is under a boil water advisory due to a major water leak according to Utilities, Inc. Customers have been alerted and an advisory has been issued.
